My little guy keeps waking up. He keeps wanting me to bring him back to his old room. Of course trying to explain to your 16 month old that his old room is now his sister's room and he sleeping in the same room as his big brother of course doesn't get through to him. I'm hoping in a few nights he will be use to sleeping in the same room as his brother and not being in his old room. I'm hoping to head to bed here in a few minutes in hope to get some sleep.

It can be hard to change a routine. Just keep reminding yourself, "This too, shall pass!" Like you said, a few more days and he'll adjust. Until then, take naps when you can!

with three kids I was lucky to get a nap today and that was after asking my husband between his bus runs to take all three so I could lay down. It's been days since I've had a nap.

@Genipher I hate when I'm up that late. I try to go to sleep by 1am. I fall a skeleton on the sofa all of the time when I'm not babysitting. We have to be up by 8am tomorrow we have soccer.

@ShyBear88 Ooh, ooh! I can beat that! I have 6 kids and I couldn't get to sleep last night until after 3:30am. I thought I'd doze on the couch this morning before the kids woke and kept me on my toes, but then the doorbell rang around 7ish am...it was the window guy who was coming over to replace our sliding glass door. I never got a nap. I rarely do. Anyway, I feel your pain.

Oh hope you got some sleep....this happens with my kids too..they want their old place, not contented with the new room. or maybe they are so used to the old room. This is with shifting to new house too..I have a problem in falling asleep in new rooms or house or friend's or relative's house...

He didn't have a probably tonight. He might have had a little bit of trouble because of teething he has been drooling a lot and had a slight fever a few days ago.

I remember it was hard for me to sleep in the double beck since my brother was at the top. I can hardly even remember that, but most of my teens i used to sleep in the living room. hope that he will get used to it.

Good luck with this! I cant imagine what the middle one must be thinking ... I have an 18mo boy and I'm amazed at what he understands. Congrats on number three.

The middle one got to stay in the same room as he has been in since he was 24 months. He has been sharing that room with his big since since his second birthday when I was at the being of my third pregnancy. So for him he was fine. My daughter was fine two. The baby was all confused he wanted his old room back. Tonight no issues.
