My family, under attack!

My photo, of the beastie just before he struck!

We went to Llandudno on Monday to give the kids a last little treat before they went back to school after the holiday, when we got there we were all starving so had fish and chips sitting on the beach (the best way to eat them!). I took my rubbish to the bin and as I was walking back saw my partner, mother-in-law and daughter jumping up with their food, my five year old son wasn't quick enough and the seagull in my photo flew quite close to him squarking! His dad thinks it wasn't a problem but as I saw the confrontation from a side angle I know the gulls huge beak was very close to little David's face - and no wonder he screamed and dropped his chips! Vicious things they are, but I noticed they're very well fed this year...

That doesn't look to me like a seagull more like a dove. lol I would think being so close to Davids face would make him scared, no wonder he dropped his chips.

It's the scale of the photo and the way I've cropped it @Marcyaz - it was a huge seagull!

@chrisandmark I understand now why it didn't look like a seagull to me since it was cropped down so far.

Seagulls can be quite vicious and are very greedy! Great picture!

The eyes make them look 'calculating' too - I don't think it's any coincidence he went for the littlest one in our party, they're clever little buggers (or big buggers actually!) x

We used to have seagull problems at our summer home when I was little. They were always so hungry and they would divebomb us in hopes of getting some food. So we would eat first and then give them the left overs. lol
