The eyes always say what a person might be thinking.
Just one look and you know whats coming next!!
Do you know that feeling . . . .
I Like nice and expensive things and I am prepared to wait till I have enough money to buy, I don't compromise on anything - that is settling for second best.
My photo - Louis Vuitton - window dressing is as far as I got with this NICE thing - there might be a compromise in there somewhere, a learning curve for me maybe!

I think that's the key. I don't mind paying more for a noticeable increase in quality but for pretty much every product the law of diminishing returns kicks in at some point.
I know people who pay a fortune for sound systems, paying ever more for smaller and smaller increases in sound quality. A lot of the time they are paying a fortune for increases in quality that aren't even detectable to the human ear.

I've never been one for labels. I don't see it as settling for second best. I see it as not being taken for a mug!
Take Louis Vuitton handbags for instance. As far as I'm aware they aren't like the Tardis. They might be worth paying through the nose for if you could fit everything you possessed into one of them. But you can't. They're just handbags, like any other handbag, except quite often more vulgar looking.

It is nice if you like fine things however I am afraid that I prefer to spend my spare cash on travelling and wearing practical but comfortable clothes. You probably would not want to sit near me in your posh frocks!

I have an expensive taste too. But I hardly get the things I want. But I look though.
