I know it's hard to make ends meet and looking at this video casts a very good light on this topic.

They even put them in jail.
Private probation companies charge excessive fees to low income people who can't pay small fines like traffic tickets. If they can't pay, they go to jail. SU...

The vast majority of the homeless here in the US are folks who need help overcoming addiction or with mental illness. In the 1980s, to help cut the federal budget, the government closed nearly all mental institutions and simply put the patients out on the street, where they, and those who came after them, still are today. The working homeless are a recent phenomenon caused by corporations sending manufacturing jobs overseas and the people who had those jobs having to take new jobs for much lower wages.

This is a problem that needs to be addressed, but some of the reporting on this may be from a suspect source. RT is the Russia Today network. Russia Today is an English language Russian propaganda tool that specializes in reporting on America in the worst light.
