What’s your paradise looks like?

The perfect description of a getaway relaxation is described in a paradise like island where you could only hear the summer breeze and splashing of waves. Here you are resting under a shaded tree while looking at the clear blue sky, sipping an iced pineapple flavoured beverage. That’s their picture of relaxation. But all I could imagine is the sandy, salty wind and sticky feeling of the beach. Not to mention sunburn. I do love going to the beach… but as for relaxation? I don’t think so. What’s my picture perfect of relaxation? Me, alone, lying in bed, with pillows around me. No disturbance from the outside world. No sands, no salty- sticky feeling, no scorching heat and no sunburn. Now that’s not only relaxation, it is paradise. What’s yours?

Ha, I guess it goes to show all of our ideas of paradise are different. I personally haev to say my idea of paradise more closely resembles the beach. Ocean waves, sun shine, good friends and a margarita is my idea of paradise.

Yes, we do have our own way of describing paradise. Thanks for sharing though.

I think it's a small room or place with a laptop, power supply and unlimited fast internet facility.

@Bhaskarjhborah It's a common problem to us onliners. Perhaps you could switch to another provider?

Paradise for me would be to be completely alone without anyone to interrupt the perfect day. Since I don't think that is even remotely possible, even considering I'm about to move and will be living alone, I still think there will be plenty of interruptions to take away my solitude.

In a ver cozy room where there is a huge tv with cable, food in the corner like pizza and moist cake. There is a veranda where I can view the beauty of the world. Relaxing. Wait, I forgot the full AC.

Just a few simple things that create my paradise. In mornings- Opening the curtains of the windows of my room. Sit on the couch near the window Feel the cool morning breeze while having a cup of coffee and reading my favorite novels. At night- Seeing the night sky. Lying in bed without any disturbance or sometimes with a calm music.

If it makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, why not? You could bond with the trees though, discover something new.

HAHA your post was hilarious to me because you're right! I mean yes it is possible to relax on the beach but you need certain things to do it right. Like an umbrella to block out the sky. Making sure it's not too windy or too cold etc It does sound amazing but yeah, doesn't always work out to be as relaxing as we dream it to be lol My idea of relaxation varies. Like the one you mentioned is a good one that I like. Just laying in bed alone. I also like taking hot baths and listen to nice music like soft jazz or some Spa Music that's on YouTube. What I REALLY wish I could do though whenever I have enough money, is to go to a place where there is snow and stay in a log cabin for a while. Out in nature, not many people around, relaxing near the fire while reading a book.
