New test venues for Indian cricket home series..2016-17!

Rajkot, Visakhapatnam, Pune, Dharamsala, Ranchi and Indore will debut as Test venues in 2016-17 seasons. I think this is good move by BCCI. 1. Increases the test match attendance as these cities have not hosted tests before. 2. New pitches and conditions for players and viewers.. 3. Young generation gets inspired looking their heroes play 4. Hope support for both spinners and fast bowlers. We want test matches with result rather than boring draw (Kohli always plays for win as far as we saw) 5. No rains during matches please Your thoughts please..

These new stadiums should have fast bouncy wickets. Then cricket will be interesting.

Yes hopefully . That will definitely make test cricket interesting. If it is a flat batting pitch generally the outcome is draw. Dharamshala is obviously most beautiful venue.

Yes either bouncy or turning tracks, but should not be falt wickets where draw is the only result possible.

@avi256 Yes Avinashji, the Nagpur wicket is a bad example of test match wicket.

So many test matches in next 15 months, Kohli will cherish this as captain.

Yes Avinash at the same time it will be a challenge ahead of kohli. Our test team does not have much experience however home conditions will be bigger advantage. He would cherish this as a batsman also. Thanks for your response
