Cameron Goeldner reports the news from Denver Colorado the Colorado Rockies have called up left handed pitcher Tyler Anderson from their AAA minor league team in Albuquerque right handed relief pitcher Jake McGee who has been placed on the 15 day disabled list with inflammation on his left knee. Anderson will be making his debut in the Major Leagues as soon as he can get work as a relief pitcher for the Rockies during the 2016 baseball season. Anderson was sent to the 15 day disabled list on April 3, 2016 by the Rockies with a strain on his right oblique. Anderson pitched in three levels of the Rockies minor league chain during the 2016 baseball season before he was called up to replace McGee on the Rockies 25 man roster. Rockies manager Walt Weiss will have the option of going with Carlos Estevez and Jason Motte to replace McGee as the closer of the Rockies while he is on the shelf.

Hope things work out for him. Hard to say what will Happen in the West. Right not it's Giants/Dodgers, but it's a long season.
