What Can You Say About This Painting?

I took the photo during the Kannawidan Festival of our province Ilocos Sur. I did not get the name of the painter and not even know the title of the artwork. But the painting is kind of mystery. Though the girl is smiling but the eyes is intentionally not finish. An impact just like the Scream but I think the mood here is happy rather than frightening. The blue color motif. Sometimes its hard to get a meaning of a painting especially when its abstract. Just this one, full of mystery. If I am to give a title: The Smiling Lady With No Eyes

The artist has a talent. A mystery of an unfinished painting of a lady. I am married to an artist myself and unfinished paintings are in my surrounding.

I wonder who the model for this painting was, a former girlfriend of the painter? Did a lover's quarrel end their relationship? They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, Is the painter trying to say something?

@josie_ my interpretation now is based on @Daljinder comment, its the happiness that can be feel and not what we only see. We should also judge people not on what see in them but on what they are doing and living.

The impression I get from this painting is pure joy that is emanating from within. Though there aren't any eyes I can sense she is blindfolded yet she is content.

Somewhat I find it a little horror. Or perhaps this painting is too abstract for me to understand It is just like unfinished work.

@ilocosboy It's a layered painting technique and it doesn't look like it's painted on a canvas.

This painting seems very dirty. The painter is not a versatile painter. He lacks the right combinations of colors and mixtures. This is not seriously done.

An abstract photo has many meanings, you have to look in through it

Intersting, we use our eyes for identifying one and even judge, so i think this face is of a lady who is happy for no reason, which is sign of wisdom and painter does not want viewers to judge the face of the lady, which brings use to the point, lady cannot judge use ,she has no eyes, we have eyes yet cannot judge her. This is what painter wants a world where nobody judges other.

Let me try to interpret. Do not look at the things around and you will surely smile. The more you see things, the more it will prevent you from smiling.
