I was just trying to hoover on myLot.com and I was really amazed when I clicked the 'Offers' icon! Everything was fine but one 'offer' really induced one thought - How Can Anyone Directly Ask The Credit Card Information? Do you think it is correct. Attached is the print-screen of the same!

Yes, it is quite legal to ask for credit card information. It is up to you, of course, whether you choose to give it or not. My advice is to walk away smartish from any so-called 'offer' which does this. The 'offer' is, of course, an inducement to sign up for a free trial of something which will charge your credit card once the free trial expires. If one is very careful and cancels the subscription before the free trial period expires, it may occasionally be worth your while (if you consider pocket change worth your while). The problem is that these companies often make it very difficult to cancel and even reading the terms and conditions carefully doesn't always tell you that. MyLot doesn't control what is posted in the 'Offers' section and nor is it responsible for anything which is there. All of the offers are provided by a third party who pay MyLot something for displaying them.

I never did a task here, and I would stay away of a task asking me to give credit card details. I have three $0.25 tasks "Give your address/email details and win a 500 dollar shopping coupon" for three different general stores brands that I could do today, and I would if I was not sure to receive spam during a year in my email instead of a coupon.
