Long island ice tea kind of tea

So I am just continuing on with the enjoyment of our Sunday and Im enjoying some music and a couple of long island iced tea's perfect on such a hot day like today. Long island ice tea incase you didnt know usually have some sort of alchol in it. Of course you can just leave it out it you prefer. Here's my recipe:
Brew your choice of tea (flavored or plain)
pour in a pitcher with ice and let it chill for awhile
pour your tea into a glass
add a shot (or more,lol) of your choice of alchol (today's verison was vodka)
stir
Ice some more ice and enjoy

I remember my first Long Island Iced Tea! omg! It knocked me off my feet! Do you ever watch The Big Bang Theory? When Sheldon asked Penny for iced tea and she gave him Long Island Iced Teas and he just sucked them down I could not stop laughing. But making my own would be a nice change! I can't do vodka (it makes me very sick), so what else could I do? rum?

OMG!!! yes I actually love that show,lol that one so funny. Yes you can do rum, tequilia pretty much whatever you like or have on hand, etc. I like to do flavors too I raspberry ice tea today, I dont make mine very strong.

@AutumnSnow I'm so glad you knew what I was talking about. How I love that show, too. I will definitely enjoy making these. I had a small bottle of rum and I just need to find it! lol Oh, the raspberry sounds wonderful! I actually love drinking crystal light iced tea and their peach is one of my favorites. I should try spiking one of those! Look what you're making me do! lol
