I use AAA battery for my camera and wall clock .
But the battery can't last long in taking picture and the price is not cheap too.. I throw this battery away but some still can be used for wall clock too.
I am thinking of using rechargeable battery and also I need to buy a battery charger too, price may cost about $20 or more.
Have you able use rechargeable battery too, how long the life of this recharge battery last ?

My cameras use special batteries designed for the cameras but in the past I had one which used AA batteries, and I always used rechargeable batteries. They don't last forever, but it works out a lot cheaper than disposable batteries.

@Chungshop Absolutely. If you're happy with your camera then it would be a waste to buy a new one.

Rechargeable battery is good. Am using it for long . If you buy a good one which will surely last long on every charge .

The life of a rechargeable battery depends of the quality of the battery and of the quality of the charger : let's say that they can reasonably be charged without any loss between 20 and 300 or more times.
But a rechargeable battery has a high level of self-discharge compared to the quasi-null level of self-discharge of an alkaline battery and it is not a good idea to use them for items needing very low energy like a TV remote control or a wall clock. But on the other hand they are perfectly adapted for a camera. I do not know any camera working on AAA batteries, and I am not sure that you will find specific rechargeable AAA batteries targeting cameras. You should take the largest capacity available, at least 1000 mAh, or you risk to have to charge it often : a rechargeable AAA runs only on 1.2 v instead of 1.5 v and then it lasts less than an alkaline AAA.

There are two types of batteries. You need high drain batteries for things like a camera. A camera uses sudden bursts of energy. A low drain battery is for things like a clock that drain slowly and consistently. Make sure you get the high drain for your camera.

Before I just bought any type of battery, but can't last long. Only selected batteries are good for camera.

My camera has a battery designed for its usage. AAA battery doesn't last long. Rechargeable battery works like the AAA battery. But it is cheaper since you don't have to keep buying, you only have to recharge them.
