The first strip of Tank Girl’s final year of irreverent active service to those who don’t give a flying damn.
Tank Girl & Booga, her mutant kangaroo boyfriend, sober up enough to learn that there is to be a major Australian beach convention for bounty hunters, in effect putting many of the men who have broken up Tank Girl’s parties in one place.
Tank Girl plans a blitzkrieg air-raid assault to wipe out many of her enemies in one go, and it really is just a turkey shoot as she faces little resistance. Tank Girl turns her massacre into a game in which she and Booga impersonate various pop-culture celebrities and game show hosts as they slaughter their way through their eccentric but clueless opponents.
This is little more than an excuse for a string of violent jokes but very funny.

@Jessicalynnt yes it is very offbeat and Hewlitt, the writer went on to create the virtual pop group Gorillaz with Damon Albarn from Blur - this is the very strange but brilliant video from their hit, Clint Eastwood - it has some of the style and mood of Tank Girl art work
Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood VIRGIN (P) 2005 The copyright in this audiovisual recording is owned by EMI Records Ltd

I've never read any of these, nor seen the movie, but this sounds hilarious.

@teamfreak16 Tank Girl comics were very anarchic and subversive - the nearest thing to punk rock in comic form

@JohnRoberts the film was a travesty of everything about the comics - it actually stopped the comic selling too and finished off a great series of punk era graphics
