To The Man Who Broke My Heart...I'm Sorry

I wrote a blog post on my regular blog on this subject, and since I can't post links here as "advertisement," I figured I would start a different sort of discussion on this subject. Have you ever had your heart broken? If so, how did you recover? Did you have family? Another type of support system? Did you "rebound" like so many people do? Or did you do what I did, and write an "apology" letter that goes sort of like this.... I'm sorry for not being worth the effort you put forth. I now know I'm worth more than that. I'm sorry I felt I had to nag you for attention. I won't do that again. I'm sorry I couldn't be the shining light you thought I was. I'm more like a fireworks explosion anyway. I'm sorry you lost me to someone who realizes my worth: Me. Don't worry though. I'll treat me awesome.

I have been through that.Good thing is that I have my family and friends as my support system in which I am able to cope and move on easily. Your apology letter-I like it so much that's a positive outlook of a brokenhearted

That is a good way to get over your pain. I usually wrote poetry about my broken heart or sang my sad heart away. Thank God I am married now and don't have to worry about break ups ever again!

That's what i want, but I've got some work to do on myself first. I'm tired of attracting the wrong men. I guess my picker is broken lol
