Can equality be achieved in any country?

Majority of states across the world has equality in the Constitution. The states strive to reach equality. But can it be achieved? In India there are reservations for backward castes, religious minorities, and other minorities. Sometimes they get opportunity as against the general categories so there is inequality. In the education sector, seats are limited, ICSE, CBSE, different Boards are there. so all of them have their own marking system. Grades differ. Students dont get equality.

For perfect equality, people in the world have to be homogenous. This obviously is not going to happen; people are always going to be different from each other. Slowly these differences are going to be categorised as superior and inferior. This will always happen. I think the best we can do is not let it affect us much and learn to accept these differences without trying to compare them and see who is better.

Thanks for the comments. There is more inequality than equality. In a less populated city, the children are admitted in schools without giving any tests. In Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, the child after giving the admission test is expected to face lottery, and if selected they get admission in schools.

Here they do, but it's a struggle who come from families with a history of poverty or criminality.

Thanks The Horse to know that equality is achieved in USA. In India we still require many more years to come close to equality.

They have to get equality right from the foundation. The grades of education are as per their status which should not happening . Controversies between parents and government are happening now and then but nothing is coming out.
