In recent surveys it has been found that women tend to live at least 5 to 10 years more than men.
In the Indian perspective, the reasons given were as follows.
Men have more addictions like cigarette, hard drinks, pan masala. Women dont have them.
Men are involved in hazardous employment in industries more than women.
Men face pollution more than women.

Thats true, women somewhat effort does some extra work than men which makes their heart healthy.
But in todays life women also got habituated to effortless work because of technology and busy life.

I have heard women live longer because of psychological reasons as well. They often express their pain by crying which reduces stress.

I remember the period theory. Because women menstruates, they always have new blood every time they bleed. The toxic blood exits their body.

@sathviksouvik Since we dont bleed like women, We can get rid of the old blood we have by donating our blood. men who donates blood lives longer.

I 100% agree. I have had family and friends in nursing homes and when you walk through the halls of a nursing home (people are usually 80+ years old), I usually find 70% of the rooms have women in it.
