Learning another foreign Language made the mess of things

When I observed that most of the evening are being wasted after my office in moving to movies and chatting with friends I decided to learn a foreign language and could get admission in SPANISH LANGUAGE the only course which was introduced newly in the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages. I did work and could finish the Advanced Diploma. While I was about to finish and there was no M.A. there, I joined in French. There started the whole mess. I felt the language very tough contrary to the feeling of others. The "Very simple and easy" language started eating my brain with the pronunciation part. Whenever I was asked to pronounce a particular word my pronunciation was that of Spanish only. I really feeling it hard and I am the only guy in the eyes of the professor who is feeling difficult with the language. I also observed that there is a lot of change in my English also. Adding to this the spelling mistakes in English while writing. Confusion in simple words which was not there earlier. Dear Freinds can you suggest any idea to come out of this problem?

Perhaps you went into it too soon after Spanish. You might need to give yourself some space between the two languages.

@shivamani10 I took French in high school many many years ago and didn't have any trouble with it. I think though had I taken it on the heels of the other language I had taken the year before being German, I would have found it difficult.

@just4him me too find it difficult. Lot of difference between how you pronounce a world and you write it.

Actually, there was no gap between the admission dates. If I lose admission, this time, I had to wait for another 6 months. So, I made up my mind to join the language. Moreover, some people have told me that it was the easiest language but which did not work out for me.

Perhaps that particular language is not the best one for you

Yes. You said rightly. After getting proficiency in Spanish I am unable to adjust this new language.

@shivamani10But remember, any little bit you learn is already of value. Perhaps it is best to keep it at that.

this is a difficult task with which you pinch but I can tell you that obviously you need more effort and also maybe just a little more attention and if you indulge in Spanish but without being confused with the English that will really make a mess in your head. Success!

Yes. I find Spanish very easy and most interesting language. Sometimes, I write the language with ease and comfort. Even my professor says that I got some affinity with Spain in my previous birth. Even I too feel like that sometimes. Just I want to give a hang to French as suggested by some of my friends.

Yes. right. Already I am doing a full fledged course in Spanish which is affecting my English. Again taking up French will worsen the situation.

Choose a completely different language from a different family of languages like Chinese or German, for example! I know what you're talking about. I had studied Russian and then tried to learn Polish. It's too near to Russian.I always mixed things.
