I use to when I was a kid. My Uncle got me started on it....I have stamsp from all over the world and many old old stamps from the US. I don't and haven't messed with that hobby for years now....sits quietly away in a case in the back of the closet

mine is the same state as urs, i had collected many in my childhood which lie safely in a stamp book of mine and locked away in my books closet...but when i take a look at them everytime, i become nostalgic...funny and painful sometimes, that i m not continuing at present nor having any interest for them...but such is life...

I haven't touched mine in forever (years) but they are tucked away safely. I remember when my favorite Uncle got me started in collecting them...was fun and cool when I was a kid.

I don't do it, but I think it's pretty common still.

Now this is a touchy one, in my younger days I was trying to "win over" a boy and to do this gave him my brothers stamp collection (was such a horror child) lol but when my brother found out of course I had to ask for it back. Actually bought this up at our primary school reunuion a few years back and yes he remembered what I had done. I never saw the value of it as my brother did but it was all the go in those days. At least you still have them and one day may put them to use.

I've never collected stamps, and in reality, I haven't really taken up collecting anything, in my life. The closest thing to a collectible I have would be many rare Super Nintendo games, which are worth between 100 and 300 dollars each on eBay, but I still play them, I have no concern about keeping them in mint condition, and I don't know if I plan to sell them someday or not.

Hi, I have been collecting now for over 22 years, with over 70000 stamps from every country, but still the urge for more is there. I havepartners in many countries. Its a great hobby, so I advise all my MYLOT stamps collector friends to start collecting again.

Hello shooie..... I'm a life long stamp collector, been at it a little over 48 years now. I still find it exciting. It's too bad your collection is sitting idle in a closet. If you'd like to get started again, in my discussions you'll find my offer of free stamps to any collector in mylot that is interested. Tom

I will collect stamps from different countries, or if a new state stamp comes out, I like to get it. I haven't bothered with it for years, but recently came across all the New Zealand stamps I bought when I was there.

That's a neat idea. What a good way to collect.
