Are children natural performers?

June 16, 2016 12:44am CST
Boys and girls within the age group of 5 to 6 years, imitate everyone and do whatever they see in front of them. They cannot think whether it is right or wrong. They have spontaneous nature of imitating the others. So that brings the question are children born performers?

Like many things, it probably depends on the person. My younger kids (aged 5 and 3) will take every opportunity to dance, sing, or talk to in front of others. But I've met some kids that are so introverted that they won't even make eye contact, much less step out from behind their mothers.

Yes Genipher, some are shy. The shyness goes away once the children go to higher schools and interact in public more.

. In the eyes of children, the wrong becomes correct, if it is done by an adult. So if we want our children to become great, we should give them something great to imitate. Children are great imitators. They still cannot identify which is right or wrong. Anything that they can see or observe from the people around them they imitate it. They are born performers, because they are good in copying even from the television shows they are watching.
