Interestingly enough there was an Indian man who went to china to teach Buddhist monks how to defend themselves against bandits which gave birth to shaolin kung fu.
Still the most famous type of martial arts would be the chinese ones because of the movies but any form of military organization has trained in "martial arts" and not just the chinese ones with weird poses. :)

The Name of that Indian was Bodhidharman who was know as Damu in China.

@sunilparthan Never was good with names :) Still it was surprising when I discovered that fact.
I thought the Chinese were the ones who invented martial arts :)

i read that in the ancient times ..there is one budhist monk go to china , and teaches breathing techiques.. then spreading in china
