I have noticed that people whenever they get dental problem avoid going to a dentist . This is not the fear of a dentist but main reason being the self imagined pain that make them avoid a dentist. They imagine for themselves of the pain they would suffer visiting a Dentist for dental problem. They imagine those big spanners, hand drills going inside their teeth...of course starting from the injection of anesthesia . Did you experience this fear?

It isn't just the fear of pain. It's also the fear that the dentist might find trouble than I really want to hear about. The bill at the end of the day is disincentive enough as well.

Yes offcourse. Most of them have fear to needles. But when the pain not tolerable we have to go any. It is better to go early,it will be done with one injection.

@shivamani10 I am not sure if I relate fear of pain with the dentist but I really just hate going to one. I had bad experiences maybe that is why.
