Alec Sills-Trausch reported the news from Houston Texas on Friday the Cincinnati Reds have activated from the seven day disabled list outfielder Billy Hamilton.
Hamilton was placed on the seven day concussion disabled list when he was struck in the head sliding into third base on June 7, 2016 during a baseball game versus the St. Louis Cardinals.
Hamilton was placed on the seven day disabled list by the Reds on June 10, 2016 as a safety measure after his head injury.
To make room for Hamilton on the Reds 25 man active roster, the Reds demoted outfielder Steve Selsky back to their AAA minor league team the Louisville Bats on Friday.
The Houston Astros will host the Reds in a three game series to be played at Minute Maid Park. Hamilton who is one of the fastest base runners in the Major Leagues will be back playing center field for the Reds on Friday.

The Reds have been terrible this season and I wonder if Hamilton despite being young won't be moved by the trade deadline.

I would not be surprised if Hamilton is traded to another team that will be needing his services this year.
