Pedro Moura reported the news from Oakland California the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have activated from the 15 day disabled list outfielder Daniel Nava.
Nava had been placed on the 15 day disabled list on May 17 with a strain of his left groin which kept him out of the starting lineup until he was called up from his rehabilitation assignment with the Salt Lake Bees which is the Angels AAA minor league team on Friday.
To make room for Nava on the Angels 25 man roster, the Angels demoted right handed pitcher Al Alburquerque to the Salt Lake Bees on Friday.
Nava will be in the starting lineup for the Angels in left field when the Oakland Athletics host the Angels for a three game series to be played at the Oakland Coliseum on Friday.

I don't know if this a good thing or not. Nava wasn't exactly tearing it up prior to injury and the subs performed about as well.

I guess the Angels could not afford to have Nava on the bench after he came off the disabled list.
