HOW TO IMPROVE ENGLISH

when i was in class 9th i was scoring pass marks in english.once my english teacher told me to go through the newspaper and nd start writing word meaning ,, since then i improved a lot!!!
what do u think, why we get interest in reading newspaper??

Read more novels, spend more time finding out meaning of new words.
Reading news papers is also a very good thing. If your are interested in a particular think like sports, u will try to understand the meaning of each word automatically. Then your English automatically improves

Read things you dont understand and always keep dictionary on hand to look up words.
