It is possible that in the next 100 years, the world will be full of garbage floating along the bays, running along rivers which result to pollution. It is obvious that though the idea of recycling is easy to do, most people do not do it. Here in my place, they pursue a policy that garbage segregation is a must. But the question is, the moment they collect it, they still mixed inside a garbage truck. In our house, we used to put inside an empty sack the empty cans, or bottles to be sold in the junk shop. I also have compose pit for my garden where biodegradable are disposed. What could you contribute to reduce garbage?

In order to eliminate problems like this, people should know how to dispose garbage properly. If people will just cooperate and learn to become more responsible there will no problem to face at all.

We have an organised system here, one week bottles and glass, the next paper, cardboard and plastic. All quite separate fro the household rubbish collection.

So on a weekly basis, garbage trucks collects a specific garbage? where do they dump all the garbage they've collected? in here, local governments select a certain empty location as a dump site and then after several years, when there is too much they find another site which to me don't look sustainable.

I remember several years ago there was a group of people That invented a machine where the garbage were turned into bricks. I'm wondering what happened to them.

That could have been a good start to lessen the garbage we produce. The people and government should commit to help this issue. I know it will not be easy but we really have to sustain the work in instilling discipline to everyone.
