No story hour today :(

Story hour has started at our local library now on Tuesdays at 10:30 am. I got up todayand started to get ready and my children did not want to go.
My son is 8 and my daughter is 12. We have gone every year since my daughter was a year old.
I can understand my kids not wanting to go especially my daughter as it tends to be geared towards little kids.
Time needs to slow down I miss doing all these things with my children.
Later tonight we are driving an hour away to another library for a teen event my daughter will so. It's to learn how some snack foods are made and for them to get to eat it after they create it. I better call now to register before I forget.

@ModernDayWriter Thats really neat. As long as it didn't have red dye in the ingredients I would try it for my kids.. Then again they are so picky they dislike a lot of things.
