I know some people say no to this but for me and my husband it works for us to get our time in together. We have a tv in our room. Our kids are to young for a tv in there room although they ask often we tell them not till thur are much older and can be more reasonable with what comes with having a tv in there room. Our kids find it a big reward to watch tv in mommy and daddy's room. Normally during a snow day we will have them pile on our bed and watch tv after having fun outside and hot chocolate after breakfast. So some times tv in the bedroom is a good thing. Do you have a tv in the bedroom?

We don't have a TV in our bedroom because I don't want to be ignored at night. If we had one in there my husband would pay more attention to it than me.

That can happen. Although if I want attention I turn the tv off so then my husband pays attention to me. We both equally like or tv time before bed and to snuggle up to each other and watch a movie in our warm bed.

I feel the same way as you. My husband and I love to watch tv in the bed room just cuddling together.

It's the best. Because the kids steal the tv most of the day and I don't want to fight with them over it since they are little. I'll get plenty of tv time when they are all in school. It works for us we know when it's time to be all snuggly or when one of us wants to be on the computer and the other wants to watch tv.

@Jdaw1985 I make the kids take turn watching their shows but half of the time the tv is on and they are playing and small half they are actually sitting and watching it.

@ShyBear88 Yeah I am the very same way with the kids. It is easier to to let them watch what they want to watch other then fighting with them.

Yes, we have a TV in our bedroom but never really use it unless we are sick in bed.

I remember having to be on bedrest and the tv was one of my friends but it gets boring after awhile when your stuck in bed. It's the only time me and my husband get some tv time to ourselves.

I've always had a tv in my bedroom for as far back as I can remember. That's where I do my best tv watching! It has never interfered with my ability to get a good night's sleep, and it also hasn't interfered with my relationships. Daddy knows when to turn the tv off when momma comes a calling! LOL

We don't own a t.v. at all. Though there are times I wish we had the ability to watch our Netflix shows in our room, so I can stretch out.

@ShyBear88 We can still watch things on Netflix. Or we rent dvds to watch on the computer. We've been without a tv for almost 13 years now. It's been lovely.

@Genipher That's awesome. We did that when we first started out and I was pregnant with our oldest. By the time she was 9 months we finally had cable. For awhile it was just the xbox, or psp, with Netflix I spend many days of my pregnancy especially at the end where I was on bed rest.
