Alright so my first ebay sale was a nightmare but this second one will hopefully go a little smoother.
We've had this stove on ebay for over a month it seems like, it looks brand new and its in pristine condition. We've only had it for like a year and a half so very little signs f use are even on it. Most of this whole time we have had one person just watching it and I'm not sure if they were waiting for it to go down or what.
But anyway, I got kinda frustrated with it just sitting out in our garage and sitting on ebay unsold that I made a little update on the item description that we would be open to shipping - because we had it as local pick up only.
The next day, I wake up and long on to my email, the first thing I see is that I have an offer, I'm thinking alright we got a bite finally. Go through a little bit and I see another email that says your item has sold, so now I'm confused because I just saw I had the offer so I'm wondering did ebay just accept the offer on my behalf. Turns out, the same person that made the offer, turned around and just bought it at the full price we were asking for it. (YAY!)
So I have been chatting with the buyer, telling her all she needs to know and she's coming to pick it up Thursday. (Double YAY!)
I'm pretty sure this will go better, now I just have to make sure we can get it into her truck. I'm starting to like selling on ebay, I just wish the fees weren't so high.

I get whacked with fees twice...once from ebay for the sale, and once from paypal for the money. And ebay always bills me for it the next month instead of taking it from the actual sale, so I have to make sure to leave that amount sitting in paypal or it messes my bank account up.

those fees are pretty killer
I got hit with a 7.99 fee from Paypal which did come out of the sale, so that is alright I guess
Now I have to deduct $25.60 and keep it in my paypal to pay that fee.
It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't getting hit with fees from BOTH paypal and ebay.

Grats on making a sale on eBay! Hopefully, this will be the first of many!
Used to have an eBay online store and made significant amount of sales. However, didn't agree with the changes that they had so decided to close shop and move my online store to a local website.
