Have you ever tried Filipino blood stew or Dinuguan, my friends and relatives love this dish specially if paired with steamed rice cake (puto) but I love it with rice. Teenagers in our place no longer likes this dish they think it's disgusting because of the blood what's your take?

It's one of my favorite dish . In fact , it's what i bought for early lunch this morning . I paired it with "pakbet" , mixed veggies in shrimp paste . With my rice these two dishes is a perfect pair. I ate a lot actually .

But be careful with your uric acid, Ms. LT. Blood stew is very high in uric acid.

@sunrisefan I have no problem with my uric acid and even my creatinine . They are always on the normal level , It's the cholesterol that gets over the normal though sometimes .

@ronc510 No. I don't know how it was cooked but when I ate it, the meat (pork) was bit crispy.

I love Dinuguan. My parents love it too. I can eat many plates of rice if we have it on the table. Your post make me crave for dinuguan.

When I was young, I ate dinuguan but when I get older, I stop eating this food. The smell sucks.
