Metro has reduced the traffic

In my city, Bangalore, lot of traffic was there before the introduction of metro train. Now it is almost 2 months, lot of traffic has been reduced in those areas where metro can reach.
Also, many of my relatives are now using metro only. In fact, about 125000 people are travelling every day!

Yes, after metro introduce in city the lesser bus we see but small vehicle increase. but it reduce if the metro connect to the nearby office
