Dentist's Office Giving Me Problems

I decided over the weekend to see a different oral surgeon than the one my dentist referred me to. This is because I feel safer with a female doctor than a male. Now, my dentist's office is giving me trouble over getting a hold of a copy of the x-rays and CT scan they did to bring to the consultation! They claim they can't email a copy of the records to the new surgeon. I finally had to demand they print paper copies and tell them I'll be by tomorrow evening to pick them up.
