Favorite 80's One-Hit Wonders - "Radioactive"

Once again, we're in England for #8 in my Favorite 80's One-Hit Wonders series, where we check out The Firm.
Formed in 1984, The Firm was a supergroup featuring former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, and former Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers. Bassist Tony Franklin, who has worked with Kate Bush, Whitesnake, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, among others, and former Manfred Mann and Uriah Heep drummer Chris Spade rounded out the lineup.
The Firm was only together for two albums, which, according to Page, was the plan all along.
Their eponymous 1985 debut contained the band's only Top 40 hit, "Radioactive," which peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Radioactive" is catchy as hell, and bass aficionados should dig Franklin's fretless bass riffage, which, as far as I'm concerned, is the song's highlight.
The Firm hit various charts, and even, counting "Radioactive," appeared on the Hot 100 three times. "Radioactive," however, would be their only Top 40 hit.
I'm using the rules from Wayne Jancik's book The Billboard Book of One-Hit Wonders: An act can only have appeared in the Top 40 on the Hot 100 once. Any other charts don't count, and neither do countries other than the States.

@teamfreak16 They were good. Like when Slash and scot Whalen started Velvet Revolver.

I wish they would've put out more than two albums, even though that was the plan. Great band.

I know. I hadn't thought about it in a couple years. But it definitely belongs on this list.

PS -- why do you have this listed as a cover song? Paul Rodgers wrote it.

I'm slow today, I finally figured out what you meant. Thanks for pointing it out. It's fixed.

I was thinking, "I never heard this," then that powerhouse drum opening started and I said, "Ah, yes." For an "FM rock" song this is pretty darn good. The hair bands were starting to take over by then, so maybe that's why this appealed to me.

Yeah, they weren't exactly getting airplay on alternative stations.
