Totally disgusting sentences in the Text Book

Ever since I started my education from 5th to 10th Class I have been reading the sentences which never changed neither their struture either in description of the status or the figures about the Inian Economy.
"India is an Agriculture Country. The Economy of India is totally dependent on Agriculture. About 50% of the economy of India is dependent on Agriculture which is dependent on monsoons that are erratic".
When I was reading casually I again happened to see that the percentage of Agriculture dependence on monsoon shown as 40%. I really shocked to see the figures.
A developing country with a vast potential for development though could achieve self sufficiency in various other sectors could achieve only a 10% decrease in the Agriculture dependence on monsoons.
Do you have any such DISGUSTING sentensces still ?

Just read on 'monsoons and Indian Agriculture', " Indian Agriculture and monsoons'. I actually wanted to post the link also. But, have not done it.
