Nobody Missed Me but the Spammers on MyLot

Today, I am returning to myLot after a fairly long break, a few months I think. 
As soon as I logged in I seen that I had two new messages. I hardly ever get messages on here, so I was curious and a little excited! 
Well, it turns out it was just two different spammers trying to sell me on something, I don't know exactly what as I didn't read much past "I want to show you how I earned $3000 in just my first week, blah blah blah..." LOL 
Here I was thinking maybe someone on here missed me and was asking where I have been, but nooo. 
Just the lovely spammers that seem to follow us everywhere we go online nowadays. 
Oh well!

It's getting ridiculous, not just here on myLot, but anywhere you go online.
At least myLot does a better job of controlling the amount of spam than other social websites online. Don't you think?

@TopRear Yes it does. Unfortunately, I don't see any way to prevent it. It's just something we have to put up with if we are going to be online, I guess.
