Tod Palmer reports the news the Kansas City Royals have activated outfielder Alex Gordon from the disabled list on Saturday. Gordon had been placed on the 15 day disabled list on May 23, 2016 with a broken right wrist after he collided with his teammate Mike Moustakas during a baseball game on May 22, 2016. Moustakas suffered an ACL injury on the collision that ended his playing time in 2016. To make room for Gordon on the Royals 25 man roster the Royals have demoted outfielder Brett Eibner to their AAA minor league team the Omaha Storm Chasers. Gordon had played six games for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals and the Omaha Storm Chasers as part of his rehabilitation assignment. Gordon will join the Royals in Kansas City when the defending World Series champions as they are hosting the Houston Astros for a weekend series that is being played at Kauffman Stadium.

That is true since they are having a tough year in 2016 without the services of Gordon in the lineup.
