This is a follow up to my 1st discussion at this site about Sleepy Hollow. Not the movie, but the TV series aired on FOX.
Seriously? How many fans out there are super disgusted?
They killed Abbie Mills!!
Ex-squeeze me! Ichabod Crane + Abbie Mills = Sleepy Hollow!
No Abbie Mills. NO SLEEPY HOLLOW!
Yet! FOX announced there is to be a Season 4.
(Sigh.) I'm so angry, I'm still going make time to watch it!
Incredible! Are the people behind the scenes who make the casting decisions, geniuses or what??!
I'm mad! But I still want to watch the show!

Tonight we witnessed the supposed death of one of the main characters on Sleepy Hollow but we're here to tell you that you shouldn't be worrying.

I really like this series. However, because of my school and work schedule and caring for disabled parents, I have not watched as often as I like. I was thinking today about starting over and watching from the beginning. However, after reading they killed off Abbey Mills, I am not sure that I want to.

Abbey and that cute British guy had a “special chemistry”. Their onscreen presence worked and it made the show a success. Break up the team. Ruin the show. I suppose the actress had other career or life ambitions. But when they killed off her character I lost interest in the series. It was good while it lasted. Always fun to watch the reruns during Halloween season though!

Yeah. I was sort of thinking that. After all, Sleepy Hollow already has demons. Why not ghosts?

I thought for sure it was the last season with her character gone. Do you think they bring the actress in a different role? I read a couple interviews, and the writers kept saying the character won't be back, but I never saw them say anything about the actress. I know it's not the same though.

If I were a writer and wanted that show to survive, I would get really creative will all kinds of twists and turns. But that's just me.
