My work on UPWORK

I have recently started my account on upwork as a freelancer, looking for creative writings, I got to know about it through one of my friend who has also worked here.
Just came to know that she lost a huge amount of 500$ from a client just because it was unverified, and even on such a case upwork cannot help the freelancers.
It really sad when you work for your US & UK clients over night and they do not pay you for your work, though its a lesson for her & she will never trust unverified client, I really believe that UPWORK should not allow unverified clients.
I am sharing this message so that you don't get victimized.

That's horrible! She wrote for them and they didn't pay. She still has the copies of her own content, she can perhaps, publish her copyright work elsewhere.
