Don't you hated when you say no to someone about getting your kid/s something and they go and buy it anyways?
This always irritates me and my sister in law does it to me all of the time. She will ask me and I'll say no and then she doesn't it anyways. Recently was a blow up pool float. I told her not to buy it because we don't have room at our house which is true. That and the kids will probably never use it because they have kick board and life jackets so a floaty would be kind of pointless.
Even though I said no she bought them anyways and are keeping them at my parents House. But their is no where to keep it over there.

Oh, that's really frustrating. Good thing you're still in good terms with your sister in law. Maybe if it was me, I will really tell her straight that I don't like what she did to my kids.

With her things go in one ear and out the other. So frustrating indeed.

My mother-in-law tends to give in quite a bit to my kids. There are times we're with her, and one of our kids will ask for something. We'll say no, and she'll sometimes get for them anyway. Even when we ask her not to give in, she'll still do it. It does get frustrating.
