Why lip stick and nail polish are for women only?

Almost all women want makeups like lip stick and nail polish. why it is only for them or why only women are attracted to them? What will be the reaction of a women if she sees a man using lip stick and nail polish?
we can understand kid's attractions but why and how nature has done this difference?

@jayaramas,I think,it is perhaps because women want to look beautiful.You may call it their natural tendency.If a woman sees man wearing nailpolish and lipstick,I think,she would not like it.She would laugh and leave.
