Eric Stephen reports the news the Los Angeles Dodgers will send to the pitching mound on Wednesday evening to make his debut in the Major Leagues right handed starting pitcher Brock Stewart against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
Stewart was a sixth round draft choice of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft out of Illinois State University.
Stewart began the 2016 Major League Baseball season pitching in the Class A minor league team in Rancho Cucamonga. Stewart moved up the Dodgers minor league chain pitching for the Class AA team in Tulsa and the AAA minor league team in Oklahoma City Oklahoma before he was promoted to pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts made the announcement that Stewart would be his starting pitcher on Wednesday evening in Milwaukee on Tuesday.
Rotoworld.com reports that Stewart will lilely be making a spot start for the Dodgers since he has spent only two seasons in the Dodgers minor league chain after he was drafted by the team in 2014.
The Dodgers are likely going to send Stewart back to their AAA minor league team the Oklahoma City Dodgers after he pitches his debut game on Wednesday so he can gain more experience pitching in their top minor league team for the remainder of the current baseball season.

This will be interesting. Bear in mind it Kershaw's back woes may sideline him so a spot start could be more if Stewart performs well.

That is probably the reason Brock is making his debut tonight.
