Paul Simon to quit music?

That is what I read today! He's going to "retire." Come on Paul! You are part of the sound track to my life! Granted, he's 75! He started making music since he was 13 - that is my ENTIRE life! But... it is hard to imagine the world without Paul Simon's making new music. I suppose I can live with that, after all, we still have his music on disc and tape, and its better than having him murdered like John Lennon. At least he has a European tour ahead of him, so he's not quitting quite yet.

Maybe he has health issues or private reasons why he has to retire he isn't willing to divulge.

I know, I know, but its just sad... I'm not saying "Don't do it, Paul!" I'm just saddened by the idea. I was listening to one of his songs the other day...
