Jon Heyman reports the news that Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce is willing to drop his no trade clause in his contract to join the Cleveland Indians before the Major League Baseball trade deadline on July 31, 2016.
The Reds are not in contention to make the playoffs this baseball season. The Indians even though they are in the state rivals of the Reds are in need of the services of Bruce on their team due to a shoulder and bicep injury that has sidelined their star outfielder Michael Brantley.
Bruce has been with the Cincinnati Reds since he made his debut in the Major Leagues since 2008.
Bruce has admitted his desire to play the remainder of the 2016 baseball season with a team that in contention to make the playoffs.
Ken Rosenthal reports the Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in making a trade for the services of Bruce on their team.
Jon Heyman reports the news the San Francisco Giants are also interested in making a trade with the Reds to acquire Bruce before the Major League Baseball deadline on July 31, 2016.

Bruce is having an All-Year putting up big numbers the interest. The Indians have been sensational lately and would really improve with his stick.

My brother in law who is a native of the Cleveland area must be excited that his Indians are winning baseball games this year.
