Hi friends, The above photo is of my brother's engagement function's. This is how we have engagements. That means Fixing the day for marriage between the groom and bride. Both family members will agree this and date will be fixed. How is this functions in your country.

In our place, we call it "pamalaye" when the groom side asked the parents of bride for the date of their marriage or fixing the date and how it be done. The groom side will bring foods to the house of the bride to be.
