Happy 4th of July dear friends from America.

When it is the 4th of July, I make a back turn to my memories to that 1957 year when I lived in the US for a year and a half. I was at a parade, I sang patriot songs that I have never forgotten along with my very best friend (long deceased now, but never forgotten). Even though now I have another realation with other countries, even now that I´m not much of a patriot even in my country (except when we win at soccer), on July I start singing not US National Anthem but a song I liked a lot. I am referring to America, the beautiful. It is a song with no violence and full of the beauty we saw with my husband when long ago we went to and fro in a rented car. America! America! God shed his grace on thee And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!
