Can You suggest me what to purchase ....?

Dear MyLotters I want to purchase a power drill exclusively for a Domestic purpose. Here, in India, the people are becoming over smart and are not leaving their business to attend simple work at home. They are not willing to come to the house to drill nails in the wall. Even if they agree, they are charging Rs.10/- per piece which is very high. For placing a curtain rod he has to use two nails. So, for each, he charges Rs.20/-. If we give our choice of nails that will be charged separately. All the more it comes to about Rs.50/-. There are many wooden pallets and other wooden furniture to be repaired in my house. What all they need is some finishing and refinishing of screws and nails wherever they have become lose. Ater viewing the entire situation I have come to a conclusion that the only alternative and the best way to avoid expenditure on this work is to purchase a power drill along with nail kit so that I can attend all these small repair work whenever it is needed. Do you have a power drill in your house? Does it work effectively? What is the brand? Can you suggest me any power drill in view of the situation prevailing with me.?
