My mother was left a huge enough farm land in the country area, she is trying to do a little farming but that's not working out so; cause after all you need fund for farming. Need advice on some of the ways you could make this land a success and not a failure. I have a few advice of my own, but advice cannot be too much. Let me know what you would do if this inheritance fall upon your lap.

If I inherited a large piece of land in the US, I would not be able to keep it because of government taxes.

Taxes! Taxes! These are some of the hindrances I dislike.

I don't know how it is there, but here you could rent the land to another farmer and probably pay the taxes and make a little besides. Depending on how the land is zoned, you could use part of it for different things, like renting storage for vehicles, etc.
