I want to try loosing weight slowly and base on previous post that I was able to read I just have to avoid --- rice, sweet food, fatty foods and soft drinks---and with that I can start my diet. So my problem is since I am Asian i am very used to eating rice and sometimes I don't get satisfied without eating rice. I know it will be very difficult and I don't know if I will be able to do it but I am determined, this time. HAHAHA So I need something to replace rice and I was thinking --- BREAD! But not sure if which one is good because I think I read it somewhere that it doesn't really matter if it's wheat bread or white bread.. it's the same. What do you think guys?

white bread is tastier, especially when toasted, but wheat bread is heavier on the tummy. i still eat rice for lunch and dinner, but in much lesser amount. i just scoop more 'ulam' (viand) to fill me up.

White bread makes you fat. It is better to eat whole grain bread. I know it comes in wheat, oatmeal, multigrain, multigrain with seeds, rye. See what they have where you shop. Some of it is very good. I like the oat bread and multigrain.
