What is the cheapest way to start your website if you don't want to use free website ?

How much will it take to build a website with a domain name with few pages and that's good enough. I think HostGator is one of the cheapest and one of the best as well.I tried GoDaddy before and it was quite expensive. However, if you want more service included, then it will be quite expensive in HostGator as well. What are the basic price and the cheapest way to start up a new website according to your experience. Share with us ?

Use money earned from mylot to buy domain and hosting on godaddy.

get a domain is not expensive but use any other additional service is another story. GoDaddy is quite expensive.

@wildlittlefan use hawkhost. I use it only costs 3$ per month.
