According to Google, A fad diet is a weight loss plan or aid that promises dramatic results. These diets typically don't result in long-term weight loss and they are usually not very healthy. In fact, some of these diets can actually be dangerous to your health. Why are Fad Diets Popular? In our desire to look and feel better, we are willing to try anything that will help us lose weight. We are also scared of having diseases which are weight-related. And whether we agree or not, we wish to do things in a very easy and quick way possible. It is the magic that we choose to believe that fad diets can work for us in a short timem

Building a good body takes time but the journey there is worth it. :) But it is really possible to significantly lose weight over a quick period of time. Actors have done it and the most notable actor I can think of is Christian Bale. Going from normal to skinny, from skinny to buff from buff to really buff, from really buff to skinny :)

@cherigucchi What doesn't endanger our health in today's modern world? At least losing some fat reduces chances of heart disease and makes your body healthier :)

I'm not so conscious about my diet, but i want to exercise instead of fad diet.

Fad diets are popular because people normally don't want to put in the actually work it takes to be and stay healthy. They just want to lose a few pounds to fit into an outfit or to not look so pudgy or fat in a bathing suit. Healthy isn't a diet. Healthy is a lifestyle change you have to be willing to make for the over all good.
