We're living in a fast paced society but all things shouldn't be rushed. The police academy training shouldn't be a rushed training. There needs to be more investment in proper training for law enforcement. For instance: A rookie may not feel comfortable in a stressful situation that requires quick thinking. The rookie could become overwhelmed and act impulsively. Incorporating more training not only for rookies but for those who have been on the force for quite some time. All could benefit from having some training from time to time. More training can not only save citizens lives but law enforcement lives as well.

This is very true but also the people coming up against law enforcement should stop whe they are told to stop and should listen to the officer. I do believe at least 90% of the shootings that are happening are because the person does not do what the officer tell them to do.
