The color now is red and it warns me that threat is on my laptop. I'm trying to update but always ended with an error. My presumption is because my internet connection is weak so it cannot act well.
I'm ESET Smart Security and have been using this for years but sometimes this kind of error happen and the doctor to this problem is my friend. But sadly, the internet cannot connect in the office. I am using now my wifi.
Still, I keep on updating my anti-virus, I just hope it went well this time.

I hope it worked by now. But if it still did not, I'd recommend a temporary (or permanent) alternative. I' have been using usin ESET for years before. Until I felt their application became a bloatware, I switched to Avira (free version), which was very good actually. Then in my work I found out about Forticlient which is an anti-virus, web-filter (like K9), and VPN client in one.
Another good alternative is 360 total security- which has a very good anti-virus engine. It uses bitdefender's and Avira's virus database (or engine). Update is usually fast (even with my slow Internet connection.

@ilocosboy yup. it's good. aside from anti-virus it has a ccleaner like feature which could make your computer run faster. :) it's web filtering doesn't seem to work though.
